Welcome to the Bramshill Endurance Ride Site

Venue
As in previous years, the ride venue is Fleethill Farm, Fleet Lane, Finchampstead (RG40 4RP). There is plenty of parking space in a field accessable even to HGV's. Limited stabling can be arranged, please contact Caroline for details (07960 418121). Directions to the venue are included in the information sheets which will be sent to competitors one week before the ride.
Brian, who is TS this year.
Changes for 2008
This year there are some route changes. All routes will this year go around the Bramshill loop (last year NCR's did Heath Warren loop). In addition, all classes will leave the forest, passing through the Blackwater River, onto bridleways in Farley Hill. The route then returns to the forest via another fording of the Blackwater River (a good crew point). Most classes pass through four fords per circuit, the 25km route goes through two.

We have been very generously been given permission to use a private bridleway to miss out most of the road work into the forest, reducing the road work further. Now the ride will leave the fields as before, riders will do the short (100m) section of road to Glaston Hill Road (which is access only for motor vehicles), then enter Glaston Hill House. The ride follows their private bridleway until it is opposite Eversley Church. Here the ride crosses directly over the road (crossing will be stewarded), following the Three Castles Path route into the forest. This is a huge improvement and will enhance everyones enjoyment of the ride.

This year there will be a caterer at the venue, and the photography will be done by Radfoto. Please remember that dogs are not allowed at the venue.

The terrain varies from open grass,

Small bridleways,

Short sections on quiet lanes (you will follow the bridleway off to the left),

And of course forest tracks!
